He was survived by his wife, Nonnie Hollifield Baucom; a son, Jimmy Baucom; six daughters, Gladys Patrick, Ruby Shehan, Dorothy Lane, Nancy Sabucco, Mary Burleson and Annie Greene; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Burial was in McDowell Memorial Park.
