Mrs. Ida Byrd Poole, mother of Mrs. Marguerite Stegall of Vicksburg, died Monday afternoon at the West Feliciana Hospital in St. Francisville, La. She was 83.
Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today at Brown's Funeral Home in Gloster, Miss. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Gloster.
Mrs. Poole lived most of her life in Gloster. She was the widow of James Ira Poole.
Survivors include Mrs. Stegall and another daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Johnson of Baton Rouge; four sons, Leslie Poole of San Antonio, Texas; Frank Poole of Norwood, La.; Sherley and Conway Poole, both of Jackson, La.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
