TSgt Pro-Life "Andy" Anderson, U. S. Air Force (Ret.) - SAVANNAH - TSgt Pro-Life "Andy" Anderson, U. S. Air Force (Ret.), 84, of Savannah, Georgia, widower of Marie Patricia Moore Anderson, died Wednesday morning, October 19, 2011, at Candler Hospital. Pro-life "Andy" Anderson was born Charles F. Anderson on June 10, 1927 in Jacksonville, Florida. He changed his name legally in 1987 in response to events that led him to make a lifetime commitment to the pro-life movement. In addition to his wife, Pro-life was preceded in death by his mother, Edyth Sylvia Jackson Anderson (1904-1930); his grandparents, Henry Jackson (1870-1932) and Mamie H. Jackson (1873-1961); and his only brother, Allie Theodore Anderson, Jr. (1923-1995). The visitation will be from 3 until 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the Vigil service being held at 5 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist conducted by Father John Tran. Interment, with full military honors, will be in the family plot in Bonaventure Cemetery.
