Attended Western Illinois University from 1957-1961. Served in Vietnam in the United States Army as a communications specialist. Worked for only two companies in over 35 years, Acoustics Development Corporation (ADCO) in Northbrook, IL, and Erie Foods International in Erie, IL Was an avid Cubs and Bears fan, and enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
