Mrs. N.W. Spencer
Rites Held Thurs.


Mrs. N.W. Spencer, 83, of 509 Sullivan street, Minden, died at a Shreveport hospital Wednesday afternoon after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Noah W. Spencer, who died last September.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the home in Minden with burial at 4 p.m. in Evergreen. Norton funeral home of Haynesville was in charge.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by four sons, George B. Spencer of Fordyce, Ark.; Frank Spencer, Minden; Fritz L. Spencer, Baton Rouge, and Curtis Spencer of Beaumont, Texas three daughters, Mrs. A.W. Fuller of Heflin; Mrs. W.D. Wren and Miss Tinye Spencer, home demonstration agent, of Minden; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
