Ethel "Bette" Brodhead, 81, of Cicero died Tuesday at James Square Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Mattydale and Cicero many years. She spent winters in Melbourne, Fla. She and her late husband, Donald H., co-founded B & B Marina in Cicero. She was a charter member of the South Bay Fire Department Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Donald T. of Cicero; a daughter, Mary Weegar Carley of Syracuse; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home, Cicero. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 8261 S. Main St., Cicero. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York, 1118 Court St., P.O. Box 69, Syracuse 13208-0069.
