Elmer Liston Albaugh, 63, of 52701 Key Bellaire Road, Bellaire, Ohio, died Thursday, May 13, 2004, at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born April 2, 1941 in Glen Dale, W. Va., son of the late Harry L. Albaugh and Ruth I. Postlethwait Albaugh of Key Ridge, Ohio.

He was a member of the Belmont United Presbyterian Church at Key.

He served our country in the United States Army Military Police.

He was a former production supervisor at the Shadyside Stamping plant for many years. He then moved to pursue a life long dream of seeing our country by being a truck driver for Anchor Trucking in Powhatan Point, Ohio. He retired from driving in 1994 due to illness.

Elmer is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Arlene Sole Albaugh; four children: sons, Ronald W. Albaugh of Key, Christopher C. Albaugh and his wife, Jocelyn R. Hudson Albaugh of Key, Shawn K. Albaugh and his wife, Misty Ernest Albaugh of Shadyside, daughter Shayne C. Albaugh Boyd and her husband, Brad A. Boyd of Crozier Ridge; two grandsons, Hunter Alen Boyd, son of Brad and Shayne Boyd and Cody Lane Albaugh, son of Christopher and Jocelyn Albaugh; two step-granddaughters, Kayla Nichole and Rhiannon Ceridwen Ernest, daughters of Shawn and Misty Albaugh and a sister, Sue C. Albaugh, Gulley and her husband, Roger Gulley; also several loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday at 2 p.m., with Pastor Donald J. Cordery officiating. Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
