Elaine was born in Spanish Fork, UT on August 29, 1920. She graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a degree in dramatic arts, and she was married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 17, 1942. Elaine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, rendering a lifetime of service in many callings. She loved cooking, traveling, playing tennis, and watching BYU sports and Broncos football.
A devoted mother, by example she taught her children to go the extra mile and always consider the needs of others. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Prusse and Linda (Vaughn) Christensen, sons David (Sharron) Prusse and Michael (Diane) Prusse, seven grandchildren, and her siblings, Reed (Elaine) Brockbank and Norma (Robert) Thorn.
Please join Elaine's family for a commemoration of her life at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 31, at the LDS Church, 2710 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO., with visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial gifts may be made to Brigham Young University, Prusse Family Endowed Scholarship Fund, 1501 N.
