She was preceded in death by husband Ledodier Paul Lavergne; brother, Wilton Geatreaux; and two sisters, Agnes Richard and Virginia Thibodeaux..
She was born Tuesday, November 9, 1920 in Rayne, the daughter of the late Eugene Gautreaux and the late Amelia Thibodeaux.
She worked as a cafeteria cook for school board.
