Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Leroy Lavergne and his wife Doris of Rayne; son and daughter-in-law, Ephire Lavergne and his wife Yvonne of Rayne; son, Raywood Lavergne, and his fiance Donna Jones of Lafayette; son, Ronnie Lavergne and fiance Linda Richard of Rayne; daughter and son-in-law, Vivian Boudreaux and her husband Percy of Lafayette; daughter, Barbara Cormier, with fiance Russell Thibodeaux of Rayne; daughter, Edna Hornsby of Rayne; sister, Amy Sonnier; sister, Alice Simon; brother, Derise Gautreaux; 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Ledodier Paul Lavergne; brother, Wilton Geatreaux; and two sisters, Agnes Richard and Virginia Thibodeaux..
She was born Tuesday, November 9, 1920 in Rayne, the daughter of the late Eugene Gautreaux and the late Amelia Thibodeaux.
She worked as a cafeteria cook for school board.
