Elmer John Braun was the second of nine children born to John Alvis & Susanna (Heinen) Braun.
Elmer married Leona Elizabeth (Brutger) Hansen in 1948 & helped raise a son & daughter (William Ralph & Carol Jean) from her first marriage to Bernard Nels Hansen (1916-1946)… plus three young ladies of their own. Leona was the second of three children born to Phillip Henrich & Christina Susanna (Dockendorf) Brutger.
A barber by trade, Elmer died of a ruptured aorta in Saint Paul, MN at age 76.
