Eva L. Pratt was born 1-19-1859 in Michigan. The daughter of Alden Pratt and Lydia (King)* Pratt.

On February 18,1878 she married Alonzo Hendee. She was his second wife. At age 20 shortly after the marriage, they moved to Ingham Township, Michigan where they both spent the rest of their lives.
1880 Census shows them living in Ingham Township, Michigan.
1890 Census shows them still in Ingham Township with the following children.

Orlena L. Hendee 12-1888
1900 Census shows them with Dansville, Michigan as their residence with the three children still living with them.
Alonzo died September 4, 1908
Alonzo's obituary only mentions Leonard and Orlena. Both still living with him and Eva.
Bertha Hendee died 10-1907 while working in Detroit of Typhoid Fever.
Records later show Leonard marrying twice.

Alonzo's death certificate states he was the father of 5 children, 2 living at the time of his death. 4 have been accounted for. Leonard, Bertha, Orlene and a child from his first marriage. It is assumed the 5th was born to him and Eva and died as an infant.
Eva died 11-6-1928 at the age of
69 years, 9 months and 17 days.
Cause of death : Dropsy.
She is buried in Howard Cemetery, Ingham Township, Michigan.
