Abel H Ahrens, aged 36 years, died at his home in Blandon of diabetes. He was sick a few years. His widow, Lizzie (nee Bernhart) and three children, James, Arthur and Elsie, survive. He conducted a candy and tobacco store opposite the rolling mill, where he worked prior to his illness. Two sisters remain, Mrs. W. S. Yoder, of Phila. and Mrs Joseph Rothermel, of 219 North Front street, Reading.
