Bonnie (Ivan Y. Way) Ables, 71 of Searcy, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2011.
She was born December 6, 1939 to the late Kenneth M. and Georgia Oleta McGarity Way, Sr.
Mrs. Ables was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Donnie Ray Kimsey.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Ables of Searcy; three sons, Ray Kimsey of Cabot; Carl Ables (Kelly) of Cabot; Dale Ables (Elise) of Brighton, TN; daughter, Georgia Roop (Ryan) of Searcy; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Way, Jr. (Carolyn) of Humnoke; father-in-law, Aubrey Ables of Searcy; several nieces and nephews; two loving dogs, Bobo and Scooter.
Family will receive friends from Noon till 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1601 E. Moore Ave., Searcy, AR 72143 with services to follow at 2:00 P.M.
An interment service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 24th at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Family request in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund.
