Rock/Blues Musician. Cotton was a member of the musical group, 'Enchantment.' The group was formed orinally in 1967 in Detroit, Michigan, and members included, David Banks, Ed 'Mickey' Clanton, Joe Thomas, Bobby Green, Emanuel Johnson and later Cotton. Their hits include, 'I Know Your Hot Spot,' 'Enchanted Lady,' 'Toe Jammin,' 'I Can't Forget You,' ' 'Adora,' 'Only You,' 'Your Love Is Like A Melody,' 'Peace Is What The World Needs,' ''Give It Up,' 'Come Be My Lover,' 'Lovestruck,' 'Here's Your Chance,' 'Don't Fight The Feeling,' 'Somebody's Loving You,' 'Get It White It's Hot,' 'and 'Gotta Find A Love.' In 1981 he also sang backup vocals for the likes of Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. He was shot and killed after an altercation with a man outside a party store in Detroit, Michigan, on September 14, 2003. A man was later arrested and identified as Cotton's barber.
