The interment was in Conroe cemetery, and Rev. F. J. Beisel of Stockwell, held short services at the grave. Superintendent of Police L. W. Schafer and Captain C. H. Powell, of the police department, made a trip to the Waddell home last evening in an automobile to assure themselves that the disquieting rumors about the manner of Waddell's death might be set at rest. They made a ridged investigation and said to-day that there was no doubt about the affair being accidental. Superintendent Schafer said that there was no suspicion in his mind of foul play. Coroner Shill turned the money that was found in the ruins of the Waddell home over to Dr. F. B. Thompson pending the appointment of an administrator of the estate. Waddell had two cousins both of whom live near Stockwell. Coroner Shill sent word today to S. B. Waddell one of the cousins, to come to the city and confer with him. The money will go to the two cousins. Waddell also owned ten acres of land at the place where he met his death.
