Memorial services for Lonnie V. Walton, 89, of Wilton, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Wilton. Private burial will be in Sharon Cemetery, Wilton.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Bentley Funeral Homes, Wilton, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Walton died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at Wilton Care Center.
He had farmed in Cedar County.
He was born Dec. 22, 1909, in Cedar County. He was a descendant of early pioneer settlers in Cedar County. He married Clella Fiderlein in 1938 in Muscatine.
A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jane Watson, Marlboro, Mass.; a son, Vernon, Wilton; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Belle Hinkhouse, West Liberty.
