Wilton--Mrs. Nora L. Kiser, 81, died at 12:27 p.m. Monday at the Hershey nursing home in Muscatine of a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been a patient there for the past 15 months.
Mrs. Kiser was born July 14, 1873 in Cedar county, the daughter of Gilpin and Sophronia Jennings Wilkinson. She was married to L. J. Kiser on Feb. 25, 1892 in Lime City. She held membership in the NN club of Sugar Creek and in the auxiliary of Sugar Creek Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Kiser is survived by two sons, Walter L. Kiser and George R. Kiser, who both live at Wilton; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Barnes of Kent, Ohio; two brothers, Dr. L. J. Wilkinson of Marshalltown and Dr. George Wilkinson of Anamosa; one sister, Mrs. Lucetta West of Iowa City; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Griffith Funeral Home in Wilton with the Rev. Hugh T. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Sharon cemetery in Cedar county.
