Ben Glander, 77 years old, of Brookville, passed away Sunday following a long illness. Mr Glander was a former police chief of Brookville, street commissioner in that village and a former councilman. Survivors include one daugher, Mrs. Rheina M. Ginn of Dayton, three sons, Ray of Bradenton, Ralph of Oakwood, and Dale of Dayton, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Home at 5555 Philadelphia Drive and North Main streets in Dayton, with burial in the Fairview cemetery at West Alexandria. Visitation hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 at the funeral home on Wednesday.
