Wedded
The home of Dr. and Mrs. Hurley, 709 East Des Moines Street, was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when Mr. Jay Steel of this city and Miss Birdie Brown of Gruver were united in the holy bonds of wedlock by the Pastor of the Baptist Church, the Rev. J. Arthur Hurley, Ph.D. The impressive ring ceremony being used. They were attended by Miss Jennie Kemp and Mr. Chester Brown, who were the subscribing witnesses.

Mr. Steel is one of the bakers at the Wilson Bakery of this city and Miss Brown is one of Gruver's popular young ladies. Their many friends will be glad to wish them "bon voyage" on the matrimonial sea of life, and they will be glad to know that Mr. and Mrs. Steel will make Estherville their home where they will be glad to welcome their many friends and acquaintances.
