Retired Navy Officer, Brother of Four Bradford County Woman, Dies at 69
Leraysville, Jan 10- Capt. Berton G. Kunzman, aged 69, U. S. N. retired,son of John D. Kunzman of LeRaysville, died recently very suddenly at his home in Vineland, N.J. He is survived by his wife Jessie; four sisters Lillian Hickey of Sounth Waverly, Sarah Lantz of LeRaysville, Annie Williams and Nettie Estell of Ulster; a brother, Eric of Flordia. Berton Kunzman joined the Navy in1909. He went around the world twice on Navy cruises and served with high honor in both World War I and II. He was in charge of the Presidential yacht, Mayflower, while Woodrow Wilson was President. A military funeral was conducted at the church in Vineland to which he belonged.
