Frieda Voigt Harber departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 1976 and went to be with the Lord. She was born to Andreas August Voigt and Fredericke Voigt on November 16, 1894 on her parents farm located north of New Braunfels, Texasat the intersection of Highway 81, now Interstate 35, and Watson Lane in Comal County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar "Willie" Harber, and her son, 2LT Milton Harber. Survivors are listed below.

She moved from Creedmoor, Travis County, Texas, to San Antonio on Saturday November 21, 1942. She became a Christian at the South San Antonio Church of Christ in the summer of 1947.

Her funeral was at the Alamo Funeral Home. Archie Smith, a Church of Christ minister, officiated. Interment followed at the Roselawn Cemetery, now the San Fernando #3 Cemetery on Cupples Road in San Antonio.

MRS. FRIEDA HARBER, 7114 Quintana Rd., born in New Braunfels, Tex. Nov. 16, 1894, entered rest Wed. Jan. 28,1976 at the age of 81 yrs. Memorial services are pending and will be announced in later papers. Survivors, sons, William J. Harber, Ernest Joe Harber. Daughters, Mrs. Anita Haeker, Mrs. Otine Shaefer, New Braunfels, Texa. Mrs. Viola Boyd, Mrs. Lucille, Semlinger. Brother, Andreas Voigt, New Braunfels, Texas. Sister-in-law, Mrs. Lucy Powell, Austin Texas. 18 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Harber was a member of the Church of Christ, the Gold Star Mothers and has been a resident of San Antonio for the past 33 yrs. Services under the direction of a member of the Lelon Cude Family.
