Funeral Services For Austin Graves Held in Minnesota

Austin Graves of Hayfield, Minn., died Thursday in St. Olaf's hospital in Austin, Minn., after an illness of three weeks. He was a former resident of the Duncan community and was a twin brother of the late Oscar Graves of Princeville. Mr. Graves was born November 3, 1870 on a farm near Duncan. He was united in marriage to Emma Fox of Duncan October 19, 1894.
The family resided near Duncan for a time and in 1913 moved to Mayfield where they had since made their home. Mrs. Grave preceded her husband in death in 1948.
Funeral service were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in Dodge Center Methodist church and burial was in the Fairview cemetery.
Attending the funeral from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Leo A. Graves, Mr. and Mrs. Berwin Dell and Mr. and Mrs. Dean King of Princeville; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Kerns of Toulon; Mr. and Mrs. William Hall of Peoria; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gelvin of Laura; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cox of Wyoming.
