My father Robert Oliver (on right) with his cousin Talmadge Cooper visiting their grandparent's graves in the middle of the field behind the house where Dad was born. My dad, born in 1923, remembers his grandparents very fondly and how they helped his mother and the rest of the family as they all struggled through the Great Depression.

Pantego Academy--founded in 1847. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. My Dad attended school here as a young boy.
