Got Married;
Then Went To
Dancing Party
Miss Clara Kline [Klein], daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Kline of 929 Highland street, and Louis Rivers, a draughtsman in the employ of the Smith Premier Typewriter company, were married last night at the home of the Rev. H. C. Dattan. The witnesses were Miss Edith Kline, a sister, and Harry Durango. Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party went to the Alhambra to the dance of the Syracuse Commercial school.
For some time none but themselves and the best man and bridesmaid knew of the marriage, but the secret leaked out and the young couple were kept busy receiving congratulations. Everyone wanted to dance with the bride.
Mr. Rivers met the young woman who is now his wife a few days before the Commercial school ball of one year ago, and they were in company together for the first time when that event took place.
The newly married couple have left for a trip to Rochester and Buffalo, and later will visit his relatives at Ilion.
