Jasper Allen Becktell, 59, died suddenly at 10:30 p.m. Friday at his home five miles northwest of Muncie. He had been at work Friday at the Warner Gear plant, where he was employed as toolmaker. Though he had been under a physician's care, his condition was not regarded as serious and his death was unexpected.
Funeral services for Mr. Becktell will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Meeks mortuary. Friends may call there after noon Sunday. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery.
