Rhea Adams, age 86 passed away on Tuesday, August 24 at North Point Care Center in Paola. She is the daughter of Charles and Mary "Kissell" Bromley. She married Orla E. "Doc" Adams in Chicago on June 14, 1947. He passed away June 16, 1964. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters (Helen and Pauline) and one brother (Bud). Retiring in 1986, she served for thirty-three years in clerical positions within the State of Illinois University system. She was a member of the Charleston VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Women of the Elks - Charleston Lodge 623 and Women of the Moose Charleston Chapter 1175.
