Mr. Avance , the son of Ernest W. and Lois Dilday Avance, was born July 3, 1929 in Lamar County.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Molly Ann Avance and children Teresa Avance Beshirs and husband Billy, Billy Earl Avance and wife Leann, Jack Wesley Avance and Mark DeVaux Avance and wife Joan. His grandchildren are Lona Dawkins and husband Richard, JoAnn McCulley, Billy Beshirs Jr., Billy Jack Avance and wife Jessica, Stephanie Eudy and husband Andy, Marion McCulley, Shawn Avance, Rona, Chase Avance and wife Samantha "Sam". Other survivors are brothers Charles "Pete" Avance, Billy John Avance and wife Linda, Great grandchildren, Alexus, Shelby, Ashleigh and Alissa Eudy, Adrian and Jacob Dawkins, Landon Beshirs, Austin and Aaron Avance, Whitney, Asia, Ava, Montrae, Gracie, Martina and Andy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Dilday Avance Myers, father Ernest Wesley Avance Sr. and sister Dorothy Jean Avance.
His big joy in life was being outdoors and he especially loved to coon hunt. He retired from Campbell Soup Company following a career that spanned many years.
