Rev. Wm. McQueen died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. P.J. Sineath, in Mystic, Ga., Wednesday evening last. The body arrived here yesterday afternoon at 5:05, accompanied by a large number of friends. The interment was at the city cemetery, Rev. J. W. Domingos performing the burial service.
Rev. McQueen came to Tifton, from Nashville, Tenn. a few years ago.
He was the father of Mrs. Dr. N. Peterson, of Tifton; Mrs. P.J. Sineath, of Mystic, and Mr. S. A. McQueen of Allamore, Texas.
He was a Methodist minister and stood high in the estimation of all who knew him. A good man is gone to meet his reward. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of their many friends.
