SLEEPY EYE - Myrtle M. Kyar, 95, of Sleepy Eye, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye with burial at Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Myrtle Marian (Jensen) Kyar was born on Sept. 25, 1915 in Brookville Township, Redwood County, to John A. and Clara (Schultz) Jensen.
She is survived by children, Fay Williams of St. James, Gloria Hawkins of Wickenberg, Ariz., Shirley Whitmer of Palmer, Ark., Roger Kyar of Upton, Wyo., Joan Freyholtz of Fairfax, Jane Fischer of Sleepy Eye; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
