Graveside services for Lucille Cone Langley, 80, of 112 S. Hansall St., were conducted a3 3 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 1985 at Midway Cemetery at Meigs.
The Rev. William Cain officiated and Kirkland,Croy,Hughes Homes for Funerals was in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers included Oris Cone,Bobby Cone,Robert Cone, Larry Pridgeon, Billy Ricketson and Kenneth Langley.
Mrs. Langley died Saturday, July 27, 1985 at her home after an illness of nine months.
Born September 17, 1904 in Thomas County, she was a daughter of Robert C. and Anna Byard Cone. She attended schools in Meigs and was a member of Meigs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Langley was a homemaker and moved her from Meigs 31 years ago. On June 4, 1920 she married Charlie Guy Langley, who died September 2, 1954.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edward(Imogene)Ferguson and Mrs. John E.(Willadene)Hatcher, both of Thomasville;three sisters, Louise Ricketson of Perry,Fla., Mrs. Leland Dawson of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Lorena Cone of Lake City,Fla; three brothers, Woodrow Cone of Brooksville,Fla., Lester Cone of Astor,Fla., and Irvin Cone of Thomasville, Ga; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
