All that I know for certain is that her name was Rebecca Jones, her maiden name not noted. If it was Crum, as has been suggested, there are no Crums in the Pisgah Cemetery but the Crum surname is not uncommon in Marshall County. Rebecca was married to John Jones. They were buried in Marshall Co., Indiana in a very small cemetery out in the country, with about 100 burials, and only 23 different family surnames, just off Muckshaw Rd. between 13th and 14th Rds. south of downtown Plymouth, adjacent to a single farmhouse. It would be surprising if they weren't residents of the area. Rebecca's death date is noted as 21 Apr 1846, four years before the 1850 Census might have enumerated her. Her age at time of death is difficult to read--?8 ys 4 m 29 dys--and without better clarity of that first digit, I didn't want to note a birth year.
As husband John didn't pass until December of 1850, he should have shown up on the 1850 Census, but I couldn't find him. despite having a name that would not likely be misspelled.
