William's death certificate states he was born in 1881, however, he is listed on the 1880 census with his parents with his age listed as 1 month old. The census was enumerated on 16th of June. His real birth date is more likely May 22, 1880 since he couldn't possibly be born in 1881 and be on the 1880 census.

He married Bessie (Skidmore) Crubaugh sometime after the 1910 census.

Bessie died less than a month after William.
