Robert Lincoln Edwards, well known farmer of this community, died last Friday morning at his home at 10:30 o'clock, following an extended illness. A son of Archie and Louisa Edwards, he was born in Sangamon county on February 7, 1883, lacing one day of being 65 years of age at the time of his death.
On February 5, 1908, he was married to Miss Dora Workman.
Mr. Edwards was a member of the Christian church of Loami, and of Waverly Lodge No. 118, a. F. & A. M.
Surviving are his wife, Dora; two sons, Richard and Gene, both of Waverly; a granddaughter, Joan; a sister, Mrs. Clara Peterson, of Maywood, Calif.; and a brother, Archie, of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at the Neece Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Logan Cox, pastor of the Loami Christian church, officiating.
Burial was in East cemetery.
