She was born March 4, 1935, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Albert and Minnie Nepper Peters.
She worked for Campbell Soup for many years and the Northwest Arkansas Times newspaper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Lee "Bob" Yoes.
She is survived by one daughter, Threasa Franklin and her husband, Gary, of Springdale, Ark.; one sister, Mary Farris of Paris, Ark.; three brothers, Jerry Peters and his wife, Nora Lee, of Farmington, Ark., James Peters and his wife, Ruby, of Ozark, Ark., and George Peters and his wife, Bertha, of Paris, Ark.; two grandchildren, Stormie Franklin and Autumn Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Moore's Chapel.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Campbell Cemetery near West Fork, Ark.
