Full military honors will be accorded Sp4/C Duane A Johnson, 20, who was killed in action while serving in Vietnam. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Willard Johnson of 1604 Deer Trail.
The services will be held Thursday afternoon at four o'clock in the Trinity Baptist Church with a Chaplain officiating. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories under the direction of Plummer-Fair.
The young man, a native of Edinburg, moved to Kerrville about four years ago, and was graduated from Tivy High School in 1965. He was with the Fourth Infantry Division and had been in Vietnam since the ninth of January.
Among his survivors are his parents, his father operates the Kerrville Bakery and his mother is a member of the faculty of the Daniels Elementary School. A brother Dennis, attending Southwest State College in San Marcos, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs A.A. Johnson of Edinburg.
