The funeral for Mrs. Wilma Hollenbeck, 57 of Cortland wife of Dr. David Hollenbeck and a part-time resident of Cape Vincent, who died at her home in Cortland Tuesday, was held Friday at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, with Rev. Arthur Chauncey, retired Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her mother, Mrs. Mabel Saddlemire, and a brother Raymond Saddlemire, both of Rock Tavern, and nieces and nephews. Born in Newark Valley June 12, 1918, she had lived in the Cortland vicinity since being married about 30 years ago to Dr. David Hollenbeck, an osteopath, Mrs. Hollenbeck had served as her husband's medical assistant since they were married. The couple resided in Cape Vincent on a part time basis beginning in 1946, first at the Lawrence and Gladys Docteur Trailer Park. They later purchased the Walter Blum home on the corner of James and Broadway, where Mrs. Hollenbeck had recently opened an antique shop.*- Watertown Daily Times, Monday Aug. 25, 1975
