The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11 from 6pm until 8pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. At other times, the family will meet at her home.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm, officiated by Rev. Mike O'Brien and Rev. Ron Honeycutt. Burial will follow at the Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Huneycutt was born in Montgomery County on August 21, 1913, to the late Thomas G. and Annie Reeder Gardner. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Riley Furr; second husband, Theodore Alexander Huneycutt, Sr.; son, Carl Ray Furr; daughter, Floyce Furr Smith; step-son, Richard E. Huneycutt, Sr.; and 20 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by children, William (Bill) Furr of Kannapolis, Annie Lois Furr Dennis of Albemarle, Kay Furr Walker of Mt. Pleasant; step-children, Jean H. Hill, T.A. Huneycutt, Jr., Donald L. Huneycutt, and Brenda H. Turner, all of Albemarle; sister, Betty Smith of Salisbury; 12 grandchildren, 18 step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 28 step great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, and 15 step great great-grandchildren.
