Maria Theresa Wible married William Wright on 2 April 1868. The couple moved to California and from there to Texas settling first at Weatherford. The couple moved to Young County on 1 January 1884 and established their home in the Conner Creek community. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. M.T. Wright, 91, Young County pioneer, moved to Lincoln, Arkansas in 1918. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Methodist Church having claimed Jesus as a young child.

Survived by two daughters - Mrs. J.F. Gilmore and Mrs. John McClure; one son - Alf Wright; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
