Clair I. Burley, 76, died September 9, 1993 at WCCH following a brief illness. He was born July 9, 1917, in Fairport, a son of the late William and Bertha Lash Burley. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Army Air Corp in the European Theater of operations. He also was a member of the occupation forces in Germany. Mr. Burley owned the former Valley Implement Company of Warsaw for many years prior to becoming a local realtor.
His wife, Jean Burley, died in 1983. Survivors include three daughters, Gail Henry of Brighton, Mary (David) Carlson of Reno, Nev., Kathy Schaller of Webster; a son, Gary (Betty) Burley of Warsaw; a sister, Eleanor (Holden) Stickney of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Arthur Burley of Walworth; 11 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial service at Miller Memorial Chapel. Arrangements by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home with burial at the United Church Commerative Garden, Warsaw. Newspaper Obit
