Danny Broughton, 59, of Ashland, Ky., formerly of Westwood, died Sunday afternoon, October 2, 2011, following a sudden illness.
Danny was born June 7, 1952, in Boyd County, Ky., a son of Yneth Arnold Broughton of Ashland, Ky., and the late Willard Broughton.
Danny was a brick mason and a graduate of Fairview High School.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, David Broughton.
Surviving in addition to his mother, include a son, Joshua David Broughton, a daughter, Erica Pardue, one brother, Bruce Broughton of Ashland, Ky., a sister, Jackie Broughton Gibson of Louisa, Ky., three grandchildren, Addison, Bailey, and William Pardue.
A graveside memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Dixon Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Preston Family Funeral Home.
