Iris O'dell Garey Buchanan passed away at the age of 76 years on August 12, 2003, at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV. She died of Congestive Heart Failure, pneumonia, and renal failure. All of us kids were at her bed side. The funeral was August 15, 2003 at Whites Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio and she was buried August 15, 2003 at Randolph Cemetery in Reedsville, Ohio. She is survived by 6 daughters: Mary Margaret Garey, Margaret Mary Garey both of St. Marys, WV; Christine Marie Wade (Tim); Wanda Kay Rouse (Manuel); Virginia Ann Walker (Rick); Marigrace Clonts Furby (Joshua); all of Parkersburg, WV and two sons: Charles Wilson Derenberger of East Liverpool, OH and Roy Lee Buchanan, Jr. (Karen) of Elizabeth, WV. 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Buchanan, Sr in 1999, a grandson, Kenneth Lee Smarr in 1980; a grandson, Christopher Scott Morgan in 1982; a granddaughter, Shari Leigh Rigleman in 1979; and a great grandson, Zachary Michael Bradshaw in 2002. Also, by her parents, Charles Wilson Garey and Donna Jean Garey Philabaum.
