"...Wm Carson, and wife and grandsons Mike and Edward Hayes, Mrs A Ralston and Mrs John Chambers, left for Pine Creek Alberta last Tuesday. Their going, marks the departure of one of the oldest families in this settlement. Mr Carson has lived here for 45 years and has seen practically all the changes here from wilderness to present conditions. The whole party has relatives in Canada."
