Josephine Lena Odette, 77, died Wednesday in a local convalescent hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Odette was born in Clyde, Kansas and had been in Porterville for the past two weeks, coming here from Bell, where she had lived 24 years.
Funeral arrangements will be announced from the Myers chapel.
