Services for Mrs. Mary Byrd were held in Anderson Clayton Chapel officiated by Mr. Gayle Oler and Mrs. Guss Farmer. Mrs. Byrd moved to Terrell in 1914 and was a resident here until 1954 when she moved to Tyler where she lived until 1962 before moving to Dallas. She was a member of the Church of God.
Her husband and three children preceded her in death. Survived by three daughters - Elizabeth Teel, Mrs. O.W. Killingsworth, Mrs. Bert Corn; two sons - Dick Byrd, Jack Byrd; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
