Mrs. Harry (Helena) Oman, 74, Pullman, died at noon Saturday in Pullman Memorial Hospital from a heart ailment. She was born March 14, 1891, at Staley, Wash., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Sodorff, pioneers of the Pullman-Colton area.

Mrs. Oman received her education in the Johnson, Wash., schools, and attended Washington State College.

Nov. 4, 1914, she was married to Harry F. Oman at Pullman, and they lived there where he was employed in the hardware business. Several years later they moved to Aberdeen, Idaho, where he was with the Soil and Water Conservation Service. He died in 1955 at Aberdeen.

Survivors are two sons, H. Gordon Oman, Palmville, Calif., and Glenn E. Oman, Pullman; two sisters, Mrs. H.P. (Camelia) Willard, Oak Harbor, Wash., and Mrs. Frank Ossman, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Walter Sodorff, Pullman, and Harry Sodorff, Colton, and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Oman was a long-time member of Simpson Methodist Church in Pullman, and the neighbors of Woodcraft and the Crescent Chapter No. 53, Order of Eastern Star.

Services will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Simpson Methodist Church. Burial will be at Pullman City Cemetery.
