DEATH CLAIMS MRS. BARNWELL

The remains of Mrs. Emma Crane Barnwell, wife of S.E. Barnwell, were buried in Yazoo City yesterday afternoon, following funeral services held in Greenwood at the home ,of Mrs. Barnwell's daughter, Mrs. Jesse Stigler with Rev. Randolph R. Claiborne, rector of the Episcopal church conducting the services.

Mrs. Barnwell's death came Saturday night following a cerebral hemorrhage suffered a few days prior. She was 62 years of age.

Mrs. Barnwell is survived by her husband and seven children: Mrs. J. Q. Stigler, of Greenwood; Mrs. C. H. Phillips, of Belle Prairie; Mrs. V. O. Hemphill, Mrs. W. C. Peel, Jr., and Miss Alice Barnwell of Greenwood; S. E. Barnwell, Jr., of Gastonia. N. C; and W. C. Barnwell of Memphis; and three brothers, : William F. Crane and Arthur Crane of Louisville, and M. B. Crane of Seattle, Washington and one sister, Mrs. A. E. Wright of Louisville.

Mrs. Barnwell during her seventeen years of residence in this city had endeared herself to a wide circle of friends who loved her for her many noble qualities and who will join with the family in mourning her death.

The following friends served as pall bearers:
