Husband of Rebecca (Young) Hodson (1846-1929). They were married on January 3, 1867 in Clinton County, Ohio and they had seven children together including: Cyrus, Iva (Hodson) Lieuellen, Etta (Hodson) McVay, Chloe, Alonzo, Nora and Minnie Hodson. Lewis was the son of Pvt. Cyrus Hodson and Phoebe (Davis) Hodson. Lewis died at age 28. He was a Veteran of Co. B, 60th Ohio Infantry, Union Army, in the Civil War. There is a GAR marker on his grave.
