A funeral for Joel Leonard Bellis, 73, of 2816 Hastings Rd., who died Thursday at a local hospital, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. William Curl officiating. Burial will be in Flintville cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith Fuller Bellis; two daughters, Mrs. Aileen Stringer, of Greenbrier, Tenn., Mrs. Bernill Patterson, of Huntsville; a son, J. W. (Bill) Bellis, of Savannah, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Molly Smith, of San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. Mabel Wells, of Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
