Maxine Hack Anderson, 89, of La Center, Ky., went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Maxine was an active and faithful member of The First Baptist Church of La Center, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Choir Member for many years. Her Joy Sunday School Class was very dear to her. She worked for Kentucky Utilities and retired as Office Manager for the Ballard Telephone Cooperative after 21 years of service. Maxine is survived by one daughter, Barbara Solomon and her husband, Ted, of La Center. One grandson, David Solomon and wife Melissa; and one great-grandson, Nolan Solomon, all of Virginia Beach, Virginia. One sister, Betty Freeman and her husband, James of La Center, Ky. Two brothers, Bobie Daniel Hack and his wife, Shirley of Kevil and Dickie Allen Hack and his wife, Renate of La Center. And she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Chester W. Anderson Jr.; and a daughter, Donna Jo Anderson; her parents, Charles T. Hack and Mary E. Medlin Hack; two brothers and their wives, Charles Hack Jr. and his wife, Susanne and Billy Eugene Hack and his wife, Jacquielyn. Visitation was at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center. Funeral services were held on Sunday at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Dr. Gary Frizzell officiating. Interment will follow at La Center Cemetery.
