AMOS HESLER DIES, REPORT
Bloomington relatives of Amos Hesler received word today of his death at Morning Sun, Iowa, where he has been residing since leaving here three or four years ago.
No details were given in the death message except that he had met an accidental death there this morning. Another message was expected to be received here later today, announcing as to whether the body would be returned here for burial.
Local survivors of Mr. Hesler are his mothers, Mrs. M. M. Hesler, two brothers, Andrew and Frank Helser; and two sisters, Mrs. Clelland Shields and Mrs. Olin Deckard. Several years ago, Mr. Hesler married a daughter of Levi Hill, who operates a grocery store at Washington street and Hillside Drive.
While a resident of Bloomington, Mr. Hesler was engaged in the operation of a gasoline filling station on south College avenue, where the Phillips 66 station is now located.
